I have had nothing but problems with this machine. We bought two of them. The Transparency Adapter was broken on both and had to be replaced (after running a 4 hour long diagnostic with our friends at HP). The thing also seems to have a problem communicating with my computer. It will be running along perfectly, and then I go to do the next scan and it says: "Scanner not found." It doesn't enlarge negatives either. Don't bother. You can put in a black and white negative, enlarge it to a 3×5" image, and end up with a bunch of psychedelic color swirls that in no way resemble the original. Slides turn out blurry and indecipherable. Worthless.
