What is the meaning of this (Genesis 19:30-35)? How can a righteouse prophet be involved in such a thing?

And Lot went up out of Zoar, and dwelled in the mountain, and his two daughters with him; for he feared to dwell in Zoar: and he dwelled in a cave, he and his two daughters
And the firstborn said unto the younger, Our father is old, and there is not a man in the earth to come in unto us after the manner of all the earth:
Come, let us make our father drink wine, and we will lie with him, that we may preserve seed of our father.
And they made their father drink wine that night: and the firstborn went in, and lay with her father; and he perceived not when she lay down, nor when she arose.
And it came to pass on the morrow, that the firstborn said unto the younger, Behold, I lay yesternight with my father: let us make him drink wine this night also; and go thou in, and lie with him, that we may preserve seed of our father.
And they made their father drink wine that night also: and the younger arose, and lay with him; and he perceived not when she lay down, nor when she arose.

Lot was not a prophet. As to how he became involved it was actually his daughters raping him. If I get a girl drunk and then when she is incapacitated have sex with her I will be going to prison. Lot's only sin in this was getting drunk to begin with.

He didn't, his daughters got him drunk.

And BTW, Lot was not a prophet. In fact, it notes in many points that he lacked wisdom in many respects.

The offspring of this heinous act created the two largest enemies of Israel that sought for her destruction on every turn.

There have been "cave-dwellers" all through history, not primitive ape-men, but true cultured humans forced by circumstances into such habitations. This home was quite a comedown for a family accustomed to material luxuries. The caves of the Dead Sea region have been inhabited by many people over the centuries. In fact, the famous Dead Sea Scrolls were found in such caves, left by communities of the Essene sect (Job 30:3-6).

This case of incest is not specifically condemned in Scripture, presumably because the Mosaic laws against incest had not yet been given. Lot's daughters knew, for example, that their great uncle, Nahor, had married his niece, their own Aunt Milcah (Genesis 11:27-29), and that Abraham's wife Sarah was his half-sister (Genesis 20:12). Nevertheless, their particular act was unnatural, to say the least, and they knew their father would not consent to it if he were sober. To their credit, they had remained virgins up to this time (Genesis 19:8), even in a licentious city like Sodom and were not motivated by physical lust, but by their concern that their family not be left without descendants. They should have merely trusted God concerning this need, however. The people descended from them, the Moabites and Ammonites, were perpetual enemies of the Israelites.

First, Christians and Jews don't consider Lot a prophet but Muslims do.
Try reading what it SAYS not what you THINK it says. I someone got YOU drunk and had sexual intercourse would it be YOUR fault?
Try reading the last 3 lines again. Who got who drunk and who had relations with whom?
The girls didn't think there were any men left in the world.
Reading comprehension disability is a sad thing to have.

You want horror stories about 'prophets'? Read a biography of Mohammed. Now that's a horror story! Yet billions of his followers couldn't be bothered reading the truth about him

There is no such thing as a perfect person and these stories are here to show us this. Righteousness comes from God, but we wrestle with our humanity.

Two of Israel's enemies came out of that fiasco, incidentally. God did not bless that venture.

ADDED: The Mosaic law does proscribe incest. Read Leviticus.

I also do not hold Lot to be innocent here.

Lot of course was not a prophet.
One vs that you should get to know is 'God is not the author of chaos' NT.

Many great men have been slandered by the actions of ardently lusty or ambitious harlots, another victim, another tale, another dead hero.
