Noah’s ark… The dumbest story in the bible
This is my take on Noah’s ark. I still cannot fathom how some people actually believe that this happened. So, if you’re one of the people (apparently 60% of americans) who believe the global flood and Noah’s Ark actually happened, please, explain how.

I can’t say we’re the smartest generation, but we’re definately the most well-informed. It was long after Noah that we figured out the earth was a sphere.
Do you know what technology is involved in just simply seeing DNA, let alone using it?
Saying ancient people could use DNA is unbelievably stupid.
Quesion everything…
If god made us, who made god?
Where did the water come from for the flood?
Why didn’t other people just get in their boats and survive the flood as well?

I give my ancestors more credit than most today do. I ume that they were just as smart if not smarter than us. So its possible to have every animal if Noah had D.N.A. stop believing we are the smartest generation. We are actually the dumbest. Hitler and others destroyed millions of books. Lost Knowledge or hidden. Now look at tech. advancing. We think we are so smart. This is pride,vanity, and how we are allowing the deception. Question everything. If Aliens made us,then who made them????

A lot of the Bible …
A lot of the Bible stories are from other Religions they are slowly finding out today like the Noahs Ark is 5000 years old from the Summerians, and theres been tons of stories about Jesus and actually in the Summerian Noahs Ark it seems the ‘God’ is a Alien.

Good advice. Australia did used to be connected by a land bridge to Asia… over 40,000 years ago (34,000 years before the flood apparently happened). That’s how the aboriginals got here.
It seems to be common with creationists to only accept the bits of science that go with their superstition, whilst ignoring or (badly) refuting the rest

scientists proved that such a flood like in the story is impossible because humans cannot take the amount of pressure. the bible makes it seem that the whole earth was covered with water… which proves that the bible likes to exagerate a lot(if not lie )and stories like noahs ark and others were repeated again in different ways and names in other religions …just because christianity is a common religion doesn’t mean its right…thats why im an athiest because its a non-profit organization =]

None of those reasons are because I don’t like the idea of evolution or any other alternative…I believe christianity has a greater chance of being true over other religions because 1, its the most common, 2 horrible things have happened in the name of christ, and last because the christian faith is the most divided out of any other religion in my opinion. No other religion effects people’s lives as much…Religion and faith is the reason why most thinks have happend on earth.

God is apparently eternal, creating everything out of nothing. What word would you use for that, other than magical?
I’m not saying that’s not what happened, I’m saying there’s no evidence based reason at all to believe any of the miriad of creation stories. Yours is no more or less likely that Islam, Judaism, Hindu, Wicca, Buddhism, and they can’t all be right.
So what are the odds that your particular superstition, like the most (or all) of the others is incorrect?

Just because you can’t prove something does not mean that it does not exist….Every culture on earth has some sort of belief or legend of some sort of God and that is all the more reason to believe in God…And if we are here without where are all of the bones of all of the dead animals. And why are the ones in the fossil record any different that ones that decayed. Bones decay much faster than a layer of rock can cover a given area. The ant can only see what is in front of it, behind it, the sides and maybe can think about passed at future events. But I am above the ant. I can see what happend to it, and what is going to happen to it. IT can’t see me because I live outside of its world…
