Another Woman
A university professor (Gena Rowlands) experiences a sort of midlife crisis, so she rents an apartment (next to a psychiatrist’s office) in order to write a book. There, she inadvertently eavesdrops on what transpires between the doctor and some of her patients and becomes obsessed with the life and ongoing therapy of a woman who believes that her marriage is ending. Woody Allen directs; Gene Hackman, Blythe Danner and Mia Farrow co-star.
