How can I make taking Fish Oil Supplements less problematic?

When I take my Fish Oil Supplements each day, I seem to burp a little bit for the 1st hours, and the smell offends me. I've tried eating oatmeal before, and that didn't work. Any suggestions on how to stop this from happening?

I stopped taking fish oil and take Flax Seed oil for the Omega-3 acids. I love them and no bad taste. Make sure they are high quality, organic cold-press stuff. Check online, but you get many of the same benefits from the flax seed oil that you get from the fish oil.

I do this too, it's disgusting- they have some omega 3s that have low "burp effects" hehehe.. maybe you should search 4 them.

Some Fish Oil supplements are marketed as not causing any fish burps. I can't vouch for the accuracy of that marketing, but I can say that I've never personally experienced any fish burps from the Fish Oil supplements I take. Not sure if it's me, or the supplements.

    Hey!
That problem happened to me as well, the only solution I found was buying a fish oil supplement that the cap dissolved when it was near to digest and that helped me not to have the taste of the fluids in my stomach and the burp.

This is the supplement: Members Mark Omega 3 Fish Oil

    I bought it at Sam's.

They cause you to burp and the taste/smell is AWFUL. Although if you space the tablets out through the day and eat them before a meal it is greatly reduced.
