The FreeStyle Flash system offers uses the World’s smallest blood sample size (0.3 microliter) for testing the blood glucose level. It is intended for use outside the body. Most test sites available are fingertips, forearms, upper arms, thighs, calves, and hands. Average test time is seven seconds. It has a bright backlit display and test light, make testing and reading results easy, even in low light.
