Hi. I was wondering about weight loss. I do want to lose weight on my belly and I exercise everyday and I diet(really good and very healthy diet). Is there anything to enhance or advance weight loss while sitting on the computer?
Reminding you that I exercise and diet each day, very healthily, and I was wondering if I can enhance weight loss even more when I'm just doing nothing or if I'm sitting on the computer.
You can do what Bruce Lee did while he watched TV: sit in a v with your head and legs off the ground. He also had a muscle zapper thing he used whilst typing. Or you could get a giant mouse that weighs a hundred pounds and a giant keyboard you press with your feet.
Kegels are good too.

I want to take my picture on the 1st of every month, and document my measurements, but I don't know what else to add to it. This is my first scrapbook. Any ideas for a great, inspirational weight loss scrapbook?
Lots of starter kits out there, especially at Michael's and Joann's craft stores. As for inspirational things to put inside:
Quotes about Perseverance, pictures of clothes you want to fit into. Pictures of yourself laughing while you are exercising. Have some friends write some "cheering" comments during your journey. Physical things you want to accomplish like walking up several flights of stairs without stopping or a certain amount of miles walked in a specific amount of time tracked throughout your scrapbook. Do you have your eye on a marathon? Breast Cancer Walk-a-thon?
Pictures of you in clothes that don't fit anymore as you lose your weight and what you did with the clothes like donating them to a local women's charity/shelter.

I'm currently enrolled in a fitness and nutrition program from which I will receive a diploma. I would like to use that to start a weight loss coaching center. What I'm wondering is if there are any certifications, licenses or hidden hurdles I need to be aware of while I'm still in the planning stages. I'm thinking legally I need to have something in place to protect myself from potential lawsuits. This is a new feild for me so any information is appreciated.
Fat People and lots of patience!!!

I am about 145 pounds. I want to lose atleast 20 lbs. Can anyone who knows what they're talking about provide me with what is the best and cheapest machine they suggest and ALSO if anyone can tell me whats the best speed, resistance, and time as well as days a week to work out on the elliptical in order to achieve my 20 lb weight loss goal.
being cheap with fitness equipment is never a good idea because it often gurantees that you will never actually use it to achieve your fitness goals. you should find a specialty fitness store and participate in a trial membership at local gyms. this will help you identify what ellipticals you like best. they are all different because of patents. no one elliptical can provide a better work out than another. losing 20 pounds is easier than you could imagine. at a conservative pace it should only take 6 weeks tops. the best speed is to keep pushing your fitness level higher. so, if you can only maintain 6 mph continue to do so while always pushing yourself to hold 7 as long as you can.

I am doing some weight training for the first time. I love working out and want the best possible results. I'm seeking to become a personal trainer, do some excersise videos, and be in a few fitness magazines. Do weight loss supplements, such as hydroxycut or slimquik, really work? Are they dangerous for your body? How do they work?
Thank you kindly for answering. I appreciate you all.
theyre ripoffs… and they arent healthy for you..if you read fine print they tell you to eat right and exercise so that tells you that they dont work.. so its better just to do it the old fashioned way, eat right and exercise!

I have been power walking a mile using 2 pound weights, and I have incorporated some kicking, and knee lifts while doing the mile, but I have recently gotten an exercise bike and have been doing a few miles on that. My question is which exercise is more effective for long-term weight loss, and toning?
The weights in combo with the cardio. Mucle burns 8 times more calories than fat.
So, the power walk plus weights will help you more than the stationary bike, unless you pedal like Lance Armstrong.

I am looking for weight loss success storys that are motivating and inspiring. I am trying to lose fifteen pounds and I want to stay on track.
Please report back. Any shape, size, and weight … I would just like to hear them. Thank you!
Btw, I did not ask for ways to lose weight. I simply asked for weight loss success storys. That's all I want. Thanks. All others will get thumbs down for not following the rules.
I lost 43 lbs. on Weight Watchers about three years ago. My success was mostly attributed to Weight Watchers being a very easy to follow plan, one that you can live with forever.
Also, it helped me to always remember that time will pass regardless if I don't try, so I might as well try and make use of the time I've been given. The days and weeks pass so fast, before you know it, six months are gone and you wonder why you didn't do anything with that time.

I have been researching different options of weight loss centers(Jenny Craig, Weight Watchers, Nutrisystem, LA Weight Loss) They are all quite expensive. Weight Watchers being the least. Does anyone know of any that do not cost too much money but are still effective and provide support?
Low calorie diets are a great way to create a slow metabolism. If your ultimate goal is to create a slow metabolism than a low calorie diet is the way to go…………………I seriously doubt you are looking for a slow metabolism ;). I found a great video on youtube that explains what happens to your body on a low calorie diet

I hope this discourages you from cutting your calories way back to lose weight!!
