A market america distributor introduced Isotonix Resveratrol to me recently. Anybody knows about this product?
I don't know about that particular brand, but Resveratrol is a very good antioxidant… one of the best, in fact.
However, my brother was in Market America and I know that they usually have much higher prices than comparable brands. You'd probably be just as well off with any other brand that's got good quality and a cheaper price, assuming it's got basically the same ingredients.

And is it safe to take?
I have never read anything that suggests that, and no, its not really safe to take. While the health benefits of resveratrol seem promising, one study has found that it stimulates the growth of human breast cancer cells, possibly because of resveratrol's chemical structure, which is similar to a phytoestrogen.

If so what form did you take, how much and how was it?

Sure! It is excellent for several conditions. I have used it specially as a free radicals scavenger, and to help the arteries regain their elasticity. It revitalizes the mithocondrias inside the cells, so helping them to speed up healing and detoxification.
Resveratrol is a powerful bioflavonoid present in red and black grapes, and in combination with vit. C is a wonderful tool to fight back inflammation as well.
This is how I have used it with my patients and with great results. Also very good to improve circulation. I have had plenty of patients with circulatory problems, and when I recommend them Resveratrol in combination with Capsaicin, the results are astonishing! Of course, because it can improve circulation it is believed to increase libido and to promote a longer erection among men.

Resveratrol is a chemical compound found in many plants. This has been synthetically produced. There are claims of many effects such as muscle building , anti-cancer effect, rejuvenation, enhanced sexual ability and even prolongation of life. Some of the experiments have been done with animals.
Resveratrol is found in large quantities in red grapes and therefore in redwine. This has led to the opinion that French people have less heart disease because they consume a lot of red wine.
So far there is no consensus of opinion about the use of this drug in the human being.
In the meantime some have synthetically produced this drug and recommending this for a variety of conditions , and these have not been medically approved.

1) It's a very good antioxidant. In general, those help to protect all the cells in your body from damage caused by free radicals.
2) Resveratrol is most commonly thought of as being in wine, but some herbs have higher quantities of it and are cheaper (so they are more commonly used in supplement/pill form).
3) Cooking with it can completely destroy the nutritional integrity of it… freezing it long-term can damage the integrity, but not as much. It's usually best to store it in a cool, dry place.
4) Dosage sizes in supplements have a huge range… I've seen everything from 5 mg to 100 mg.
5) It's not a required nutrient, so there wouldn't be a "deficiency" per se.
6) That's something only a doctor could say exactly what it can cure for you, but people have used antioxidants to help everything from the common cold to cancer.
7) Yes, Resveratrol is a very popular product. It's a very high potency and high quality antioxidant.

I want to include resveratrol into my diet without drinking red wine, anyone know any products selling resveratrol?
