Everytime I do any cardio, I just lose fat from other places instead of my stomach or love handles. I am definitely not fat, I just have fat in those spots and I am afraid to skip cardio and just tone them, becuase I do not want the muscle to grow under the fat. I want a flatttt stomach.
There is a new diet that just emerged called the Flat Belly Diet. Prevention.com has a website all about it. There is a book that just came out and of course this they want you to spend your money on their product, but there are articles and recipes, etc. on this website for free! Check it out! Good Luck to you!

I am currently on a diet watching what I am eating, have about halved my calorie intake, but how does fat grams affect calories and weight loss?
Fats also slow you down when you exercise, whereas leaner proteins and carbs give you energy. You'll probably end up burning more calories during your workouts if you avoid eating a lot of fat.
That's not to say that fat is all bad. Olive oil, avocado, and lowfat dairy are good fats that can help keep you feeling full during your diet. Just make sure to consume in moderation

Other than cruches and sit-ups I want to know what exercises I can do to lose excess weight. I'm not talking a massive amount just a couple pounds. I play a lot of sports so it seems weird for me to be fat when I exercise so much, but my belly is getting fatter and so are my love handles so I want to do something about it. Can anyone help me do this?
Tummy fat is not good for the body as it increases the chances of many diseases like diabetes, heart attack etc. A whole body workout is required to lose weight from your tummy, spot reduction is a myth, you cannot lose fat by doing stomach crunches or ab workouts only. A complete workout, which includes cardiovascular exercises, helps improve metabolism and you will be able to lose tummy fat quickly. Try to lose weight naturally by doing hard work and controlling your diet.

1lb of ground turkey with 44 grams of fat (13 saturated). How much is taken out by draining and rinsing?
WOW…my ground turkey doesn't have that, is it white breast or dark meat?
and saturated!
My answer is probably all but about 3%.
But get the breast meat, its $1-more!!

I'm on a low fat diet and am having a christmas meal tonight in an indian restaurant. I want to pick a curry that is low in fat, or more to the point, not as high as some of the other choices like Kormas. Thanks.
Maybe chichen biryani… but dont take that to heart because I know indian food is rather unhealthy. (18% daily value of fat)
You can use this site to compare it to other options if you want:

What is the other fat that is not listed on nutrition labels? for example a label will say; total fat 10g, then under it, sat. fat 1g, what is the other 9g? is it the healthy fat and it's just not listed? I have noticed this on many things, including a bottle of extra virgin olive oil I have, which only breaks down the sat. fat, and olive oil is supposed to be loaded with the healthy fat, but is not listed on my bottle.
Pure olive oil is a fat but should not have any sat. fat. The label on your olive oil would make me not buy that brand again.
On other labels, you should see all the fats disclosed, so that's curious, too. I'm looking at a box of I Can't Believe It's Not Butter! On the front of the box it states: 70% vegetable oil spread. Under that, it says, Contains 10g fat (2 g sat. fat) per serving.
On the back of the box, where the detailed nutritional info per serving is listed, it reads:
Total Fat 10g
and breaks that down to: Saturated Fat 2g, Trans Fat 2.5g, Polyunsaturated Fat 2.5g, Monounsaturated Fat 3g
….those total to 10g
If the labels you're looking at don't have a similar breakdown, I think they're breaking the law and you might want to consider not buying that product again. Who knows what else those brands are not telling us!

I thought they were the same thing, but Country crock margerine says it has no trans fat, but it contains partially hydrongenated oil. I know that foods can contain a little trans fat and still can list zero trans fat. It is very confusing to me… Thanks!
Partially hydrogenated oil IS transfat.

I’m a full time worker and student always on the run. I was wondering what some of your favorite low-fat/healthy choices are at different restaurants like Wendys, Taco Bell, etc. are. I know fast food can be just horrible, but sometimes you just gotta do it! Something besides salads with low fat dressing or Subway please. And I know that the salads can be lethal unless you choose the right toppings!
I love Wendy’s Grilled chicken sandwich with no mayo. Also their baked potato (don’t use too much butter or sour cream) and their chili are both good options too.
Taco Bell’s fresco menu usually has good choices (at least better than most options).
My main technique is to get a chicken sandwich of some sort without mayo or cheese and skip the fries. it seems to work okay for me.

I ask this because I got a bit of a soft spot on my chest and I'm a guy so I don't like that haha. What I want to know is what happens to the fat mass on the chest when you start doing incline benching or regular benching? Does it go away or does muscle just build upon the fat and you can still notice it? Thanks.
the fat gets burned off the chest, but u cant accomplish that w/out cardio exercises such as running

Do you have a recipe or best method to use low-fat flour tortillas instead of regular pie crust? I'd like to make a sugar-free, low-fat applie pie or apple cobbler.
Yes, you can use tortillas. Just soften them over heat before putting them in the pan.
You could try sugar-free graham crackers, held together with sugar-free jam that has been heated in a microwave.
