Angela Hankins Sachs has suffered with endometriosis for more than 20 years. At least 17 of those years were spent in darkness. Not knowing that she had endometriosis and not even knowing of the condition, she at times thought the world was right, she was crazy. Doctors have been taught for years that a woman must be at least 25 years old and childless in order to have endometriosis. Sampson’s Theory is the oldest and most taught. The menstruation fluid flows backward through the fallopian tubes into the reproductive cavity. Once there the endometrium tissue implants itself and grows.
