Genesis Resveratrol

could some one answer me this? Pro-testants and Catholic Christains

Why is it that protestants are so quick to say that the catholic church is not of god, or separate Christians and Catholics when I look around and see a group of protestants copy cating just about every thing the Catholic church does.

Every protestant denomination has a minister, Catholics have a priest, protestants have named there’s everything but priest, yet they take from the Catholic Church, Bishops, lent, the sacrament of Holy Communion and make it lesser then it is, saying it is just bread and wine or grape juice, they took the Holy Bible that was put together by the Catholic Monks, scribes, they even took out books in the bible, they have taken the garments that the Priest and Bishops wear, even to the point of the buildings in which the Catholic Church uses and they call them churches too. Just to name a few of the things I have seen them doing.

They go out of there way to object the truth because of ignorance or pride or both, as far as laziness to seek the truth, and blindly except that all they got a do is say I accept Jesus as my personal savor get baptized then they are saved, and get to go to heaven. They take form the Catholic Church even the color that a priest or bishop wears.
Is not stealing one of the Ten Commandments? You shall not steal, yet the Protestants steal from the Catholic Church. What give them the right to slander the Catholic Church and steal from it? Do any of these denominations have a letter from the pope giving them permission to copy cat what the priest and Bishops wear, and our traditions?

this has nothing to do with love but right and wrong.

I would not say it is stealing you have to remember the protestants were a break off from Our Church the First Christian Church, the Protestant Church's are following Christianity from the first Christian Church there is a major difference though they follow Sola Scripture a Protestant ideal from their fore father of the reformation. That is why you have 38000 Christian denominations with different interpretations of Christianity I am no fan of Martin Luther but I do not think he even meant for that to happen or that was his concept of Sola Scripture!.

We have to love our protestant brothers and sisters the same way we have to love the kids on the short bus. (and for the same reason)

Pope Damascus the 1st instructed the Bible to be put together in the late 300's. It was finished in about 10 years or so. THE CATHOLIC CHURCH gave you the Bible. If we had not compiled it, there would only be scattered texts all over the world. Some would have been lost forever and "new" ones would magically appear at convenient times.

Why not learn latin, and figure out the escatalogical, diatribes of abusive liturgical legalisms, and the preposterous involuted reasoning of men over educated with a manipulative vocabulary that are hell bent on confusing their congregation into numbing submission.

Now go, and sin no more.

I suggest that for you to really understand what happened you have
to study a history of your Church and why the Reformation came about. Once you have delved into it you will understand why things
are they way they are. The fact that you comment that ‘the Holy
Bible was put together by Catholic monks and scribes” shows me
that you are ignorant (I mean uneducated not stupid) of the history of your church. The Bible is actually taken from Greek and Hebrew copies of the texts and translated into Latin by Catholic monks because at the time they did it there was no other Christian Church but the Catholic church. Please go study your church’s history and then you will be in a better position to discuss this.

there is only ONE Church(The True Christian Faith)… there are far more of The Church among the “protestants” than among the so-called “catholics”… and there are none among the leadership of the “catholics”

God will not concider what sect/denomination one belongs to in determining who will enter Heaven… if you are not of The Church you will not enter Heaven.

The so-called protestants have kept far too much of the “catholic” dogma and “traditions”… this will be held against them… at least those of the protestants who are actualy of The Church… when God is granting the rewards in Heaven… the dogma and “traditions” of the catholics… even those kept by the protestants… are a hinderance to honest seekers of The Truth and their obtaining God’s free, and eternal, gift of Salvation… any one who impeeds an honest seeker will receive less reward in Heaven… if they make it there that is

Names such as “Deacon”, “Bishop”, etc. are in the Bible the Catholics didn’t come up with them. Communion is in the Bible. And it is just bread and grape juice, it symbolizes the body and blood it does not literally become flesh, unless you are admitting to cannibalism?

Catholicism got off track long ago and strayed from the original purpose. It became a government. When the Bible become something everyone could own and people started reading it, they realized that the Catholic church was lying to them, badly. They chose to rise up and show them their faults, but the Catholic leaders of the day were too busy swindling people out of their money to pay any attention to the real Word of God. Thus Protestants (protestors of the Catholic “faith”) broke off and got back to the roots of the Church… which is Christ.

So is anyone stole anything it was the catholics “stealing” from the Bible. It’s not Catholic… some of it’s Biblical.. We just leave the false practices they have behind and keep the real ones.

Why not pick up a history book before you start talking. As usual a Catholic opens his mouth and inserts his foot.

Learn the history of your “church” and tell me it hasn’t strayed… go ahead try. You won’t be able to without lying.

    Don’t bring charges on Protestants.

You point out a speck in a brothers eye and miss the plank in your own!

You talk about the Protestants copying the Catholics, but in my lifetime the Catholics have OFFICIALLY changed so much that they almost resemble protestants. They used to ONLY worship in Latin, now they have churches that worship in contemporary style. Those Catholics and Protestants who lived during the 1960s know what I am talking about. If you’re younger than that, you’ll have to read about it.
Finally, institutionalized religion is not what Jesus had in mind. Institutionalized religion eventually gets off track. History proves this.

This is actually quite simple. The Catholic church (catholic means universal) was the first Christian church. Therefore, all of Catholic history before Protestantism is actually the history of all Christianity, involving Christian beliefs and traditions. Catholics do not own these traditions, and it is hateful and wrong for you to try and withhold them from others with an equal ‘claim’ on them.

Then Protestant beliefs are just as valid as Catholic beliefs, are they not? They come from the same book and the same history and the same Jesus. It seems that you’re forgetting the important part of Christianity (Christ–that’s where our religion gets its name) in your frantic and vain attempt to accuse your fellow Christians of laziness, blindness, and theft.

Your anger sounds like jealousy to me, and isn’t that one of the ten commandments too?

I wouldn’t say it’s stealing, but perhaps when we are criticized for hanging on to Tradition, you could point out some of these similarities.

I agree with the sibling metaphor. They’re trying. They haven’t quite arrived at authenticity, but it’s better they try than not.
